Der Rocca Rubia ist konzentriert mit feinem Stoff, vielschichtig, hat Aromen von Kirsche, Pflaume und Johannisbrot, er ist klassisch und lang. Mit Rocca Rubia schuf Giacomo Tachis einen großartigen Wein, der schnell in die internationalen 'Hitlisten' aufgenommen wurde. Giacomo Tachis ist ohne Zweifel der Önologe, der dem italienischen Weinbau in den letzten 50 Jahren die wichtigsten Anstöße gegeben hat. Er war überzeugt, dass Carignano der Stoff ist, aus dem man große Weine machen kann, hier den Rocca Rubia.
